Services for the three Concord-Carlisle High School seniors who were killed in a car crash in Florida will be held this weekend, according to their obituaries.
Jimmy McIntosh, 18, and Hannah Wasserman, 17, died in the crash April 21. Maisey O’Donnell, 18, died April 25 in the hospital from her injuries.
The students were on spring break in Florida when their car collided with a tractor-trailer making a U-turn on U.S. Highway 98. A fourth student who was in the car with McIntosh, Wasserman, and O’Donnell remains in critical condition.
Relatives and friends of McIntosh will gather for visiting hours at Dee Funeral Home in Concord from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, according to his obituary. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at the First Religious Society in Carlisle, and a reception will follow at Carlisle Public School. The services will be broadcast in the school’s auditorium and available to view on a live stream.
Contributions in McIntosh’s memory can be made to William’s Be Yourself Challenge to help build The Green House, a sanctuary for grieving families.
No public services have been confirmed for Wasserman, but a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Contributions in Wasserman’s memory can be made to The Busyhead Project, a mental health take-action initiative founded by Noah Kahan in partnership with the Vermont Community Foundation.
Family and friends of O’Donnell will gather for visiting hours at Dee Funeral Home in Concord from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Her funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Bernard’s Church at Holy Family Parish in Concord. Additional seating will be available at First Parish in Concord, and the service will be viewable on a live stream.
O’Donnell’s family is asking for donations to be sent to the Maisey O’Donnell Fund, which aims to benefit the diving facilities and community in Concord, at the Community Foundation for MetroWest. Donations may also be made by check or by calling the Foundation.
