An 8-year-old child was attacked by two dogs in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Wednesday, officials say.
At 12:15 p.m., authorities were dispatched to an address on Lake Avenue, according to a statement from the Manchester Fire Department.
At the scene, responders found the 8-year-old child and a man who had been attacked and bitten by two dogs, the statement said.
The child suffered “serious” arm injuries and was taken to Elliot Hospital for further evaluation, the department said.
The man who attempted to intervene and stop the attack was also hurt and taken to the hospital, authorities said.
