A man walking his dog found two bodies in a wooded area near a Walmart in Salem Wednesday afternoon, officials announced.
The man and his dog came upon what appeared to be a human body in the wooded area adjacent to the Walmart on 450 Highland Ave, Salem police and the Essex County District Attorney’s office said in a joint statement.
Police responded and found two male bodies, the statement said.
An investigation is underway to determine cause of death and “if foul play was involved,” officials said.
