A teen was killed and two others were hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in Falmouth Friday afternoon, officials said.
The crash took place around 4 p.m. on Route 28 North. State troopers responded to the vehicle, which was found “off the roadway, down an embankment, with catastrophic damage,” according to a release from the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office.
The teenaged occupant of the vehicle, who WHDH identified as Kayden Coombs, 18, of Falmouth, was found dead beneath the vehicle. The other two occupants were found outside the vehicle; one was med-flighted to a trauma center and the other was transferred to a hospital in the Boston area, the DA’s office said.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
