Police searching for woman, 21, who went missing from Lexington bus stop

Police are requesting the public’s help in the search for a missing 21-year-old woman.

Nora Orpin from Lexington was last seen Thursday near an MBTA bus stop in Lexington wearing a black t-shirt and black sweatpants, according to the Lexington Police Department. She was reported missing Friday.

Orpin is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has red hair. She has scars on both wrists, a ghost tattoo on her right lower forearm, and the word “violet” tattooed on her right inner wrist, according to police.

Orpin, who reportedly has a history of suicide attempts, experiences “catatonic states” and can be unresponsive for hours, police said.

Her phone was last pinged near 799 Concord Ave. in Cambridge near Fresh Pond, according to authorities.
