The fire displaced 33 residents, but no injuries were reported, officials said. The American Red Cross of Massachusetts assisted with securing housing for the displaced residents.
Residents were able to take shelter in the nearby Central Community Church, where Salvation Army workers later provided food and support, according to The Boston Globe.
Detail fire companies remained on the scene after the blaze was put out to monitor any potential hot spots, fire officials said.
