Boston police are investigating a crash in Jamaica Plain on Sunday evening that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded around 6:05 p.m. on Sunday to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car at 3615 Washington St., according to police. The driver remained at the scene following the crash, and the pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital by Boston EMS.
Because of the severity of the pedestrian’s injuries, homicide detectives and members of the department’s Fatal Accident Investigation Team are investigating the crash, police said.
As of Monday evening, no arrests have been made in connection with the crash, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
