A death investigation is underway after a person fell from “an unspecified height” at a Massachusetts Department of Transportation building in downtown Boston Thursday, Massachusetts State Police said.
Shortly after 7 a.m., Boston police alerted troopers to reports that a person fell from 10 Park Plaza, a State Police spokesperson said. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the person dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the person’s identity. There were no indications of foul play in their fall, according to a spokesperson for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
State Police assigned to the Suffolk County Detective Unit, Crime Scene Services, and Troop H are investigating.
