The MBTA is reinvigorating its effort to reunite a stuffed puppy with its original owner.
On Friday, the transit agency posted a “pupdate” to update the public on the status of the stuffed beagle, which was discovered on the Red Line tracks at Park Street station in late January. The adorable lovey has since gotten a bath, but is still waiting on its family to bring him home.

A kind T employee gave me a bath so my family might recognize me. Thank you to all my new human friends across the country who have offered to adopt me. I'm still hopeful that I'll be reunited with my family but until then I'm safe and warm with my T foster family. https://t.co/EhcWjEn4aA pic.twitter.com/1WpC3t7jMc
“A kind T employee gave me a bath so my family might recognize me,” the T wrote in an X post on Friday. “Thank you to all my new human friends across the country who have offered to adopt me. I’m still hopeful that I’ll be reunited with my family but until then I’m safe and warm with my T foster family.”
The toy beagle, which has white fur and black ears, resembles the Snoopy character from “Peanuts.”
