Police took a disruptive passenger off a plane at Boston Logan International Airport Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

A 49-year-old man from the U.K., whose identity was not released, was taken to a Boston area hospital for treatment, Massachusetts State Police said in a statement.

State troopers responded to a report shortly before 2 p.m. from gate E12, within Logan’s international flight terminal, about an “unruly” man on board, according to the statement.

No other details were provided Wednesday afternoon.
