Boston homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found Sunday night on a houseboat in Charlestown.
Police said officers responded to Shipway Place around 10:43 p.m. to “investigate an incident” on a houseboat, where they found the body.
A woman, identified by police as 24-year-old Nora Nelson of Boston, was arrested at the scene on unrelated warrants, police said.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation, and police said the cause and manner of the victim’s death will be determined by the chief medical examiner.
Nelson is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact homicide detectives at 617-343-4470 or through the department’s CrimeStoppers tip line either by phone — 1 (800) 494-TIPS — or by texting ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
