Hull school employee accused of inappropriate relationships with students

A paraprofessional employed by the South Shore Educational Collaborative (SSEC) was accused Wednesday of having inappropriate relationships with students at Hull High School.

The paraprofessional, whose identity has not yet been revealed, is employed full-time in an SSEC program housed at Hull High School, according to a statement from SSEC Executive Director Michael Losche and Hull Public Schools Superintendent Michael Jette.

“Consistent with our policies and procedures, SSEC administration notified Hull Public Schools administration, and a joint investigation was launched,” the statement said.

The paraprofessional was immediately placed on leave, according to the statement.

Hull police were notified, and the department began its own investigation, Hull Police Chief John Dunn said in a statement.

The Department of Children and Families is also investigating the matter, and the SSEC and Hull Public Schools are cooperating, according to the statement.

No further information was immediately available, according to Dunn.
