A 29-year-old construction worker died Tuesday after a house in Weymouth collapsed, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Mario Diaz Obando, 29, of Fall River, was one of five workers injured when a house under construction on Vine Street collapsed, according to Weymouth police. While the four other workers suffered minor injuries, Diaz Obando was critically injured, police said.

The five workers were taken to South Shore Hospital, where Diaz Obando died, according to officials.

The incident is under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, Weymouth police, and State Police.
