One thing you can count on when Boston is hit by an unexpected natural phenomenon like, say, a Monday-morning earthquake: Local social media users will stop whatever they’re doing to post about it.
And sure enough, that’s just what happened when a 3.8-magnitude quake sprung up 6.2 miles southeast of York Harbor in Maine. The rumbling was felt up and down the New England coast, and while most reactions were of the “Did you feel that??” variety, there were also plenty of clever takes from Greater Boston residents eager to find a reason to stop working for 10 minutes.
