Teen injured in Taunton dirt bike crash has died, DA says
The 15-year-old boy was riding a small motorbike when the crash with a car occurred.
A Taunton teenager who was seriously injured in a motorbike crash on Tuesday has died from his injuries, authorities announced.
The 15-year-old died Tuesday evening following the crash in Taunton, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office said in a statement on Wednesday.
Taunton police said first responders were called to the scene of a crash involving a car and a dirt bike around 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Silverwood Drive.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old Taunton girl, was not injured. The 15-year-old driver of the small dirt bike was rushed to the hospital where he later died, authorities said.

The DA’s office said Wednesday the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
