A Waltham school bus carrying children hit a van that then rolled over into another vehicle Friday morning, authorities said.
The yellow school bus transporting students to Waltham Public Schools hit a white van attempting to make a left turn on the intersection of Lexington Street and Beaver Street. The van then rolled over and hit a third vehicle stopped at a red light, according to a statement from the Waltham Police Department.
Six students and the driver of the van sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital, according to the statement. Another school bus arrived at the scene to transport the remaining uninjured students.
The Waltham Police Department is investigating the incident to determine charges, if any.
