Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in the parking lot of a Charlestown 7-Eleven on Saturday night.
David Menezes, 45, of Charlestown, was arrested Sunday around 10:41 p.m. in Roxbury, officials said in a release. He is expected to be arraigned in Charlestown District Court on a murder charge. No other information was immediately available.
Boston police responded to the convenience store at 140 Main St. around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 to a report that a pedestrian was struck, according to a news release from the department.
Officers found a 46-year-old adult man with gunshot wounds, later identified as Joseph Donahue of Charlestown. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
