Ten people received minor injuries after a New Year’s Eve display collapsed at an arcade in Peabody on Tuesday, police said.

At In The Game Peabody, balloons attached to a display pulled the display over, injuring people below, the Peabody Police Department said in a statement. Eight people were transported to a hospital, while two people declined to be transported, the department said.

The arcade’s website advertises a New Years Eve event scheduled to begin at noon on Tuesday.

Video of the incident posted online shows nets holding balloons suspended above a crowd of people. Screams can be heard as a display that was holding one end of the netting plummets onto the people below.
