2 missing teens safely located in New York, Saugus police say

Chloe Murphy, 15, and Brenden Bruckler, 14, were reported missing after not returning home from the Square One Mall, Saugus police said.

The two teenagers were located in New York City, the Saugus Police Department announced on Monday. The pair are safe and their families have been notified, the department said.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two teenagers who were last seen heading to a mall in Saugus on Saturday.

Chloe Murphy, 15, and Brenden Bruckler, 14, were reported missing after not returning home from the Square One Mall, Saugus police said on Sunday.

“Chloe’s Dad dropped her off around 2pm, that was the last anyone has heard from her,” the department said in a press release.

Bruckler is 5’5 and 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a Bruins jersey, and light blue Croc sandals, police said. Murphy is 6’1 and 300 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing black leggings and a gray and white Bruins sweatshirt, according to police.

Bruckler is from Wakefield but has ties to Boston; Murphy is from Melrose, police said. The pair may be heading to Rhode Island or New York City, according to police.
