Man fatally shot in truck in Worcester, police say
The 28-year-old was found shot in a truck on Dorchester Street, according to Worcester police.
Worcester authorities are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man who was fatally shot in a truck during the pre-dawn hours on Monday in the city.
Police said officers responded around 2:35 a.m. to a report of a man shot inside a truck on Dorchester Street. At the scene, officers were directed to the vehicle which contained the 28-year-old gunshot victim.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Worcester police are asking anyone with information to text the department at 274637 TIPWPD, contact detectives at (508) 799-8651or submit a tip online at worcesterma.gov/police.
