An 81-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday morning in Framingham, according to police.
The woman, a Framingham resident, was walking on Edgell Road near Frost Street when she was hit around 6:30 a.m. Police said she was taken to MetroWest Medical Center by ambulance where she was pronounced dead.
No one else was injured, and the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene, police said.
“No charges have been filed at this time,” police said.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing by police and the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office.
