Two people were injured after a car drove into a restaurant in Chatham on Wednesday, authorities said.
The Chatham Police Department wrote in a Facebook post that the crash happened around 9:22 a.m. at Larry’s PX restaurant in the Cape Cod town.
Police said they found a 2017 Subaru Forester that had driven into the front entrance of the restaurant and was lodged several feet past the building entryway. The car was driven by a 71-year-old woman, a Chatham resident, the statement said. It is unclear if she will face any charges.
Photos from the crash show the destroyed restaurant exterior and the Subaru completely inside the establishment with a trail of dirt and debris behind it.
