A Mass. cafe offered free coffee to customers who danced. The ensuing TikTok went viral.

The video of the dancing customers has gotten millions of views.

Free coffee was just a dance away at a local cafe in Middleborough.

Those who danced into Coffee Milano Cafe last Friday afternoon were rewarded with a free cup of joe.

“It’s so fun dancing,” cafe owner Josh Rashid said. “Who doesn’t love to dance?”

A sign posted on the coffee shop’s door last week advertised that customers who danced for five seconds would earn the free cup. The promotion, inspired by a local pizza shop that did a similar dance challenge, was also posted on the cafe’s Facebook.

A video compilation of the dancing customers went viral on TikTok, amassing 6.8 million views as of Thursday.

“I am still processing,” Rashid told Boston.com. “I am just astonished. I didn’t realize the power of the internet.”

Rashid said the video has attracted new customers to come to the shop.

“Ummm… y’all went crazy on Tiktok!!” Coffee Milano Cafe wrote on Facebook following the dance challenge. “We’re celebrating!!”

The cafe announced plans for another dance party next week, but has yet to announce the date.

“They’re smiling,” Rashid said of his customers. “We still have a few customers coming in, dancing here and there randomly.”
