A newly released video shows the bus that crashed into the Fitchburg Intermodal Center on Thursday, trapping an individual underneath it.

The Montachusett Regional Transit Authority bus was operating on one of its fixed bus routes when the accident occurred at 100 Main St. in Fitchburg, MART said in a statement.
Fitchburg firefighters arrived at 7:50 a.m., removing the victim from beneath the bus. The victim was then taken via a medical helicopter to a local trauma center, according to officials.
The victim is in stable condition, according to a MART spokesperson.
“MART has no information regarding the cause of the accident and will fully assist law enforcement with access to all information necessary for them to investigate the accident,” MART’s statement said. “Our concern right now is for the individual that was injured in the accident and for their full recovery.”
State and local law enforcement are investigating the accident.
