A person was hospitalized in an apparent hit and run in South Boston on Monday, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a hit and run at the intersection of Old Colony and Dorchester Avenues around 4:23 p.m., the Boston Police Department said in a statement. According to police, the incident involved a sedan and a motorcycle. The sedan allegedly fled the scene in an “unknown direction,” according to Boston police.
Officers found the motorcycle driver injured and still on his scooter. First responders took the victim to a local hospital to treat his “minor and non-life threatening injuries,” police said.
Police have not made any arrests, and an investigation is ongoing, the statement said.
