The Chelsea Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding an 8-year-old boy’s missing dog.

Rocky is a 7-month-old mixed breed shih tzu-poodle with a gray and black upper body and white bottom, police said in a statement

Rocky, who has been missing since Oct. 16, was last seen near Addison Street in Chelsea wearing a blue Halloween collar and a dog tag.

“We are deeply concerned and committed to bringing Rocky home,” Officer Sammy Mojica, Chelsea Police Department spokesperson, said. “This is more than just a pet. To this child, Rocky is family, and we’re doing everything we can to reunite them.”
