Police are looking for the owner of a white van allegedly involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash in Pelham, New Hampshire, on Tuesday.
At 7:06 a.m., the Pelham police and fire departments responded to a motor vehicle crash with a pedestrian on Mammoth Road near Muldoon Park, police said in a statement.
At the scene, the responders found a woman with “significant” injuries sitting on the northbound shoulder of Mammoth Road. She was med-flighted to Lahey Hospital with serious but nonlife-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the woman fled the scene, officials said.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Police released a video of the alleged van, asking that anyone with information call 603-635-2411.
