A man died Thursday night after a shooting near Mission Hill, according to Boston police.
At about 9:53 p.m., officers responded to a call from Craftson Way and Huntington Avenue for a report that a person had been shot. There, they found a man who had multiple gunshot wounds.
He was brought to a local hospital and pronounced dead. His identity has not been released. A BPD spokesperson could not provide any more details as of midday Friday.
No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been named. Anyone with information related to the shooting is urged to contact the BPD’s Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470. Tips can be submitted at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word “TIP” to CRIME (27463).
