N.H. crash kills 2

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Two people are dead, and one seriously injured, after a crash on I-95 in New Hampshire on Wednesday afternoon.

New Hampshire State Police were called to the two-vehicle crash in Greenland at around 1:13 p.m., according to a release.

The initial investigation by state police determined that a 2023 Toyota Camry driven by Steve Le, 24, of Methuen, Massachusetts, was traveling northbound when Le lost control of the car for reasons that are still unknown.

The Camry crossed the median into the southbound travel lanes and collided with a 2019 Ford Econoline driven by Leslie Lynn, 58, of Roanoke, Virginia, police said.

Due to the collision, the Econoline crossed the median from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes before it stopped at the wood line.

Police say both Le and Lynn died at the scene. First responders took a passenger in the Econoline to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The highway was temporarily closed in both directions near the crash scene Wednesday afternoon.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Anyone who witnessed it or has information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Brian Hanna at [email protected]
