Local police and firefighters in Bedford, New Hampshire, were called to a home Thursday morning for a report of a moose taking a dip in a swimming pool.
The adult moose was underneath the pool’s cover at the Riddle Drive home, according to a release. First responders removed the cover, and as captured in the video below, the moose then walked out and left on its own.
“I want to remind residents that moose can be very dangerous animals due to their size, and we appreciate that residents called us this morning to assist with this situation,” Police Chief Daniel Douidi said in a statement. “We’re pleased that no people or animals were harmed in this incident.”
