One dead after motorcycle crash at Coolidge Corner

A 31-year-old man died after being involved in a crash at Coolidge Corner in Brookline Monday morning.

A Brookline man died Monday after being involved in a crash at Coolidge Corner.

Andrew Stipicevic, 31, was driving a motorcycle east on Beacon Street, just before the intersection with Harvard Street, when he collided with a car, Deputy Superintendent Paul Campbell of the Brookline Police department said in a statement.

Officers responded to the scene at 7:40 a.m. Monday for a report of a crash involving serious injuries at Coolidge Corner. Stipicevic was transported to the Beth Israel Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police determined that the car was fully stopped at the time of the crash. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

An investigation is ongoing. Police did not release any information about additional injuries or whether or not any criminal charges have been filed.
