State Police said they diverted traffic to North Harvard Street to remove the truck from the street. The road was reopened at 10:46 a.m. while police closed the North Harvard Street onramp to fully clear the scene. All lanes and ramps reopened at 11:51 a.m., State Police said.
“Storrowing” is when an oversized vehicle hits one of the low-hanging bridges across Boston, often on Storrow Drive. Ahead of Sept. 1, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation released a PSA in the style of a horror movie, warning motorists to avoid Storrow Drive if they think their vehicle may be too large.
