More than 20 people, including children, had to be rescued in the Boston Harbor Wednesday evening after their boat ran aground.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, troopers received a report of a vessel that ran aground on Rainsford Island at around 6:30 p.m. with 21 people aboard.
Members of the Boston Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assisted by ensuring all of the passengers were safe.
The police said Sea Tow responded to the boat and took over the recovery. Sea Tow stabilized the vessel so that it no longer needed assistance.
