Authorities have identified the two people killed in a Foxborough car crash on Friday afternoon.
Joseph Borrelli and Carol Borrelli, a married couple, died of the injuries they sustained during the crash, officials said. The North Attleboro residents were 85 and 81, respectively.
Foxborough police officers responded to a two-car crash near the intersection of South and Cedar Streets at 4:40 p.m. on Sept. 6, the department said in a statement. Foxborough police said multiple people were injured and taken to local hospitals. The same post said the driver of the second car remained on scene.
The crash is currently under investigation, Foxborough police said. The surviving driver is cooperating with investigators, according to the social media post.
