A hit-and-run crash in the South End on Monday night left one dead and one injured, Boston police said.
Officers responded to reports of two pedestrians hit by a car in an intersection near Boston Medical Center on Monday night, a BPD spokesperson said. When they arrived, officers found the victims, a woman and a man.
Both victims were taken to the hospital where the woman died of her injuries, BPD said. The man is suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries, the spokesperson said.
The BPD said officers identified the driver, but have not made any arrests yet, and the crash is still under investigation.
