A goat sanctuary in northern Massachusetts is offering a reward for anyone who can bring a missing goat back home.
Sowa Goat Sanctuary in Harvard, Massachusetts said Caleb was being transported to his “new life” at Sowa when he was spooked and escaped on Monday.
“We are living our worst nightmare right now,” the sanctuary said in a social media post. They said they have enlisted the help of local authorities to find Caleb and have even used a thermal drone to try and find the goat.
He was last seen heading toward the woods in Littleton County Road and Old Schoolhouse Road in Harvard.
“We are absolutely shattered and sick to our stomachs,” the post said.
The sanctuary is enlisting public help, offering a $5,000 reward to the person who can find Caleb and bring him back to Sowa.
