Police looking for 7 suspects after woman robbed in Roxbury

The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries when her purse with credit cards and cash was stolen, according to Boston police.

Police are investigating after seven people allegedly approached a woman with a knife and stole her purse in Roxbury earlier this week.

Boston police released images of the seven people, who allegedly assaulted the woman on Monday around 7:40 a.m. near 218 Blue Hill Avenue.

The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries when her purse was stolen, which contained credit cards, money, house keys, and two phones, police said.

One of the alleged assailants is described as a light-skinned female with a gray/black wig, wearing all black. Another is described as a Black male with dreads, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and wearing a Boston Celtics hoodie.

Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives at 617-343-4275 or can do so anonymously by calling 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
