The Holbrook Police Department is investigating a triple stabbing that occurred on Saturday, the department said.
Officers responded to a 911 call around 3:30 a.m. on July 13th at 166 Longmeadow Drive, an apartment complex, the department said in a statement.
There, police found two men and one woman with stab wounds, police said. All three victims were brought to nearby medical centers for treatment. The names of the victims are not yet released.
Holbrook police and State Police Crime Prevention and Control are investigating the stabbings. Police called the matter an “isolated incident” and said there is no threat to Holbrook or surrounding areas. All three victims knew each other, according to police.
Holbrook’s violent crime rate is just above the state average, according to City-Data. The 2022 crime rate in Holbrook was 152.1 serious crimes per 100,000 people, which is 1.6 times below the national average, per City-Data.
