The crash occurred late Wednesday afternoon on Boston Road.

A head-on crash in Groton Wednesday killed a 27-year-old motorcyclist from Ayer.

Shortly after 4 p.m., a driver was traveling westbound on Boston Road when she “veered” into the eastbound lane, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. Her vehicle then struck an oncoming motorcycle head on.
