Boston police are looking to identify a person connected to a sexual assault on a child in Dorchester earlier this month.
The Boston Police Department released an image of a man who, police said, is connected to an indecent assault and battery on a child that happened around 7 a.m. on June 6. The incident took place near Wainwright and Centre Streets in Dorchester, police said.
The man is described as mustached, light-skinned, possibly in his 30s, with a medium build and short brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and a green backpack while carrying a plastic shopping bag.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Boston police’s sexual assault unit detectives at (617) 343-4400. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous can call 1 (800) 494-TIPS or text ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
