Seven people were injured after a porch collapsed at a Roxbury home late Saturday night, sending three people to the hospital, officials said.

Boston fire responded to 527 Dudley Street after a four-by-ten-foot section of a third floor porch collapsed, the Boston Fire Department said just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

The porch collapsed about 12 feet down onto the second floor, crews reported. Seven people were injured, and three were transported to the hospital by first responders.

“It looked to me like the ledger board came off the building,” Deputy Chief Scott Malone told reporters.
