16 arrested for sex crimes, Boston police say

An additional 20 suspects were summonsed, and police will seek criminal complaints against them.

Over the past two weeks, Boston police said they have arrested 16 people and summonsed 20 other suspects on various sex-related charges.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Boston police detectives with the Human Trafficking Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, members of the State Police High-Risk Victims Unit, and Lynn police.

Police will seek criminal complaints against the 20 other suspects for sex-related crimes.

The following people were arrested recently:

  • Shawn Hennessey, 45, of Dorchester, was charged with enticement of a child under 16, trafficking Methamphetamine and GHB, and possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy and Cialis. He will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
  • Swanand Koli, 38, of Boston, was charged with enticement of a child under 16 and sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Charlestown District Court.
  • Rahul Tiwari, 30, of Everett, was charged with enticement of a child under 16, sexual conduct for a fee, and attempted rape of a child. He will be arraigned in Charlestown District Court.
  • Jose Abad Santos, 44, of Auburn, New Hampshire, was charged with enticement of a child under 16, sexual conduct for a fee, attempted rape of a child, unlawful possession of a high capacity firearm, unlawful possession of high capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of ammunition, and possession of crystal methamphetamine. He will be arraigned in Charlestown District Court.
  • Matthew Nader, 30, of South Boston, was charged with enticement of a child under 16, sexual conduct for a fee, and attempted rape of a child. He will be arraigned in Charlestown District Court.
  • Rosevelt Alves, 42, of Stoughton, was charged with enticement of a child under 16, sexual conduct for a fee, and attempted rape of a child. He will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
  • Dylan Crowley, 29, of Everett, was charged with enticement of a child under 16, sexual conduct for a fee, and attempted rape of a child. He will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
  • Roberto Baez, 49, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee, possession of illegal drugs, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • George Dolo, 69, of Peabody, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • January Mkumbo, 44, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • Odige Theodule, 19, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • Xaviel Paredes, 30, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • Richard Sullivan, 35, of Quincy, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • Wilson Nolasco-Lopez, 25, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • David Dithomas, 62, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
  • Michael Brady, 38, of Lynn, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court.
