Orange Line riders can expect disruptions to service next week, part of the MBTA’s series of planned shutdowns for work on line improvements.
On Saturday and Sunday, shuttle buses will replace rail service between Oak Grove and North Station to allow for signal work.
From Monday to Sunday, shuttle buses will replace service between Wellington and North Station to allow for bridge and track work.
“Riders are encouraged to consider the Haverhill Commuter Rail Line for fare-free service to and from Oak Grove, Malden Center, and North Station,” the MBTA said.

In June, MBTA riders can also expect disruptions on the Red Line and several Commuter Rail lines to make way for improvement projects.
