Motorcyclist allegedly clocked at 141 mph in N.H. as police stop 30 drivers in enforcement effort

New Hampshire State Police stopped 30 speeding vehicles on Interstate 93 southbound in Bow on Sunday, including a motorcyclist traveling at speeds up to 141 mph, during a traffic enforcement effort that involved a police aircraft, according to a release.

Of the 30 vehicles stopped, 28 were traveling more than 90 mph, with nine of those exceeding 100 mph, police said.

At about 8:30 a.m., a trooper in the aircraft saw the motorcyclist “traveling southbound at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of surrounding traffic,” passing others at speeds between 124 and 141 mph, the release says.

A trooper on the ground then stopped the biker, identified by police as 21-year-old Aaron LaFlower of Belmont. He was arrested and charged with reckless operation. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Concord District Court on July 26.
