A two-year-old boy drowned in a backyard pool in Brockton Saturday morning, local outlets report.
The boy was found floating in an above ground swimming pool at 111 Ardsley Circle at about 9 a.m. Saturday, the Plymouth District Attorney’s office told The Boston Globe.
Responders provided first aid to the child on scene, the Globe reported. The boy was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Brockton Police Department and State Police are investigating the drowning, according to the Globe.
