A Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, man is dead after apparently having drowned in Lake Winnipesaukee.
Around 6 p.m. on Thursday, the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department responded to a call of a man found face down in Lake Winnipesaukee at Carry Beach, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The man, later identified as Thomas A. Lennon, 65, of Wolfeboro, was pulled to shore by officials and bystanders. Life-saving measures were attempted but the man was pronounced dead.
According to the Marine Patrol Unit, the death is not suspicious. However, all aspects of the incident are still under investigation by N.H. State Police.
