Surveillance video obtained by 7 News shows the seconds before the car plunged off the overpass. It seemed to have failed to take a left turn on Frontage Road before driving through the barrier.
Boston Fire Commissioner Paul Burke told reporters in a press conference that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene, The Boston Globe reported. He added that it was lucky there were no cars underneath the ramp at the time of the crash.
