Two women were stabbed to death and a man was seriously injured in Springfield Sunday morning after police were called for a “domestic disturbance.”
A man was arrested on scene and police are investigating the incident, Springfield police spokesperson Ryan Walsh said in a statement.
Police responded to the 100 block of Marion Street at about 11:25 a.m., Walsh said.
Officers found two women who were stabbed and pronounced dead on scene. A third victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries, according to Walsh.
