Boston police and its Auto Theft Task Force made arrests on Monday night after a party’s music reached “nightclub levels.”
Officers were investigating Pier Point Road in Dorchester after receiving several past complaints and active 911 calls about “revelers causing a disturbance,” police said. There, they found several individuals congregating and playing loud music.
Seven people between 20-37 years old were arrested and charged with disturbing the peace. Only two of those arrested were from Dorchester, with others coming from Boston, Mattapan, Roslindale, Roxbury, and Lawrence.
Officers also took several large speakers and towed five cars.
All the suspects were expected to be arraigned at West Roxbury District Court.
