Authorities recovered a body from the Brookline Reservoir Monday morning.
The man, who police have not identified pending notification of his family, was found floating in the water shortly after 5:30 a.m., according to a post on social media by Brookline police.
First responders attempted CPR before transporting him to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
“Preliminarily there were no obvious signs of anything suspicious ,” police noted.
An investigation remains ongoing.
At about 5:38am, 5.20.24 we responded to Brookline Reservoir for a report of a body floating in the water. The man was transported to BI where he was pronounced deceased.
