Body found floating in Brookline Reservoir

First responders attempted CPR before transporting the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities recovered a body from the Brookline Reservoir Monday morning.

The man, who police have not identified pending notification of his family, was found floating in the water shortly after 5:30 a.m., according to a post on social media by Brookline police.

“Preliminarily there were no obvious signs of anything suspicious ,” police noted.

An investigation remains ongoing.
